Getting Started (2 minutes)

Step 1: Sign In (or Sign Up)

3. Use your email or SSO

Step 2: Upload Your Image

1. Click "Upload Image" or drag-and-drop into the upload area
2. Supported formats: PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, BMP
3. File size limit: Up to 50 MB
4. Loading: Once uploaded, image appears on the left panel

Step 3: Select Privacy Target

Step 4: Choose Protection Mode

• Protect All — Blur every detected instance automatically
• Select Individual Objects — Choose which detected instances to blur

Step 5: Start Processing

Click "Protect Privacy" to run the analysis.

• Protect All selected → the result screen shows the fully blurred image directly. Skip to Step 7.
• Select Individual Objects selected → continue to Step 6.

Step 6: Select & Blur (Select Individual Objects only)

1. Detected objects appear highlighted in different colors
2. Click an object to select it — a selection icon appears on it
3. Click more objects as needed (click again to deselect)
4. Click "Blur Selected" (blur only what you clicked) or "Blur All Except Selected" (blur everything except what you clicked)

Step 7: Download

Click "Download Result" to save the image to your device.

Accessing Your History

1. Click the "My History" tab (top of page)
2. View all your past privacy protection runs
3. Click any previous result to:
• Re-download the redacted image
• See what was redacted and when
• Download as different format
4. Runs are stored for 3 years — anytime you need to re-access a previous redaction, it's there

A: Yes. Your images are processed on secure servers hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with encryption in transit. We don't sell or share your images with third parties. Processed results are retained for 3 years so you can revisit them anytime via My History — after that period, they're automatically deleted.

Q: Can I undo redaction? A: No. Download the original image separately if you want an unredacted copy.

Q: What if detection misses something? A: Use manual override — click anywhere on the image to add redaction. Paint mode available in advanced settings.

Q: Can I blur only specific objects instead of everything? A: Yes. Click "Select Individual Objects" before processing, then click individual faces/plates/people to select which ones to blur. Choose "Blur Selected" (blur only clicked objects) or "Blur All Except Selected" (blur everything except what you clicked).

Q: When would I use "Blur All Except Selected"? A: Great for group photos where you want one person visible (your CEO, your friend, the main subject) and blur everyone else automatically—without manually clicking each person to blur.

Q: Can I change my mind while selecting objects? A: Yes. Click any highlighted object again to deselect it. You can also switch between "Blur Selected" and "Blur All Except Selected" anytime before clicking either button.
